Malin Akerman on Motherhood: “I Hope I Don’t Mess This Up!”

Malin Akerman welcomed her son, Sebastian, into the world in April, and we caught up with the new mom recently to talk about how her busy life has changed since he arrived — as well as some of the joys and anxieties that come with first-time parenthood. Malin, who is gearing up for the return of her offbeat Comedy Central series, Children’s Hospital, on July 25, has a busy few months ahead between baby and work. She took on the challenge of playing Blondie’s legendary lead singer, Debbie Harry, for the upcoming movie CBGB and is also starring in the ABC comedy Trophy Wife, which debuts this Fall. Malin chatted with us about what the new role has in common with her real life and also shared some advice on getting back into shape after baby.
